America xcix You can become a citizen of Texas by staying here for 30 days consecutively. Once you have achieved this mark you are eligible to run for office, vote in regional elections, serve in the TDF, etc.
However should you be ejected or voluntarily leave Texas for a period of 5 consecutive days or a period of 10 days total out of any two-week period you may lose your status as a Texas citizen. Then you would have to repeat the 30 consecutive day requirements.

Synopsis: The General Assembly is attempting to pass some lightweight legislation that basically encourages governments to listen to their peoples' opinions and if they tell the people they are going to do something, then they do it. BTW, that same Texan on the last GA Resolution is going for a two-fer with this one. Two Stars. NewTexas will go on record as FOR on this Resolution. This is only the opinion of NewTexas. We look forward to other Texans' opinions and comments on this Resolution. If good arguments to the contrary are made, we will reconsider our position.
