I have sent through some. If you find there are certain things you generate less of that I migth generate a lot of, let me know and I can always spare a few.

Huh, apparently the whole wonders thing has already ended.

Sadly, yeah
It was so fun!! I'm a big puzzle fan, and love figuring out the algorithms to new ones. Plus, the resource management aspect was super cool!
It needed some adjustments to make it less tedious (and less intensive on the network (I kept getting timeouts and verification errors lol. I figure all that traffic acted like a mini DDOS XD)) but I really hope they bring it back, to stay!
I saw a "petition" for it in the forums the other day

I sadly did not notice much about the wonders thing...however, did I get it right that you took a quite technological approach in order to create one? Are you possibly even tech-interested??

I'm studying computer game design in college right now :)
I'm not super techy - I focus more on the art and story than the code - but I have a rough grasp on things. My sister, on the other hand, works in software development, and loves to teach me things about how computers and the internet run. It's super fascinating!

Wow, awesome! I studied Computer Science once, but sadly left without a degree. I am working as IT admin and spend alot of my day with tech, after work even voluntarily. I sometimes code computer games in my spare-time, but well....my lack of artistic skills sadly does heavily limit me and I cannot reach the point where I could use storytelling to my advantage, given all my projects are (nearly) one man shows.

Small world! That's so cool!

gahhh saganye, im sick behind you on almost every (positive, to me) stat except maybe civil and political freedoms! im in the top 1% in welfare, and yet! im sick of being stuck in your shadow </3

(jokes)

OOOO wait im ahead of you in income equality! just barely, but still! haha!!

(jokes again)

I mean, it's not a competition... which is good for you, because I would win - haha!

Honestly, I try to worry less about how I compare to other people and more to how I compare against the me that was yesterday. Hopefully, I am getting a bit better each day.

I am confident your approach is (at least in real life) one of the most reasonable to compare oneself.

I can be super competitive in games, but generally in life, I am much more leaning on and valuing cooperation. :D

It took me a long time to get there, and even then, I still make mistakes. It is difficult in this world we live in to not compare yourselves to others. Social media gives as a false representation of how people are getting on in their lives, and then we also face the weight of expectations placed on us by many different forces in our lives.

Focusing on the self is hard.

I mean, I would not say that I am positive. Quite the opposite. In real life, I am a through and through pessimist. It is partially what drives me to be a better person, because we are all suffering in our own way, and that helps no one.

if it helps you, then that's good. i don't know if i'd be classified as a realist or an optimist. i always hope that the best will happen, but i can usually accurately guess what actually will, if i have enough information, and i act accordingly. but, i know that no matter what, everything will be okay. bad outcomes in situations rarely mean that the world as you know it is over, which always makes me feel better if i'm ever stressed or worried, and i try to remind my friends of this, too.

omg guys welcome back
