Vacrus, you could try doing a successful Ottoman Empire justification endeavour and say that the attack was not officially declared or accepted by the authorities but performed by people who desired to fight Havalland for siding with me. Similar to how a part of the Ottomans wanted to join WWI and therefore blew some ships in the Black Sea.

I used the randomize option to get this name, not the smartest idea I’ve had. Granted, when I joined I wasn’t involved in RP so it didn’t matter.

How did you hear about The Western Isles? Browsing regions, trying to determine which one would fit my nation best. Thankfully, this region seems to have a friendly atmosphere.

What's some information about yourself (hobbies, interests, country, etc.)? I am Jewish, from Israel, and a pre-med student. Film, reading, music, piano, wine, and hanging out with my dogs are my primary interests. Very interesting, I know.

What kind of nation are you trying to make? Venicia is supposed to be a mercantile republic, much like the Republic of Venice was. Free trade, mercantilism, Italian/Venetian language and culture, etc.
