But knowledge is power. Keeping a smart populace keeps them more aware of the dangers of the world. Even if that means using more ink, because ink is worth it for better news coverage.

Essentially, what I mean is that it's a legitimate nation I used for roleplay, except, in roleplay, it only exists as a joke.

You need to put it on the right brightness setting, and also, who reads newspapers for a prolonged period of time? Reading tiny text strains the eyes equally.
