The 2nd Imperial Battleship Squadron, the 1st Imperial Cruiser Squadron, the 1st Imperial Destroyer Squadron, the 2nd Imperial Destroyer Squadron, the 3rd Imperial Destroyer Squadron, the 3rd Imperial Frigate Squadron and the 4th Imperial Frigate Squadron had been chosen in this important mission of the invasion of Beleghata. The task force consisted of HHS Eternal Light, HHS Faultless Sword, 2 Europa Class Carriers, 2 Torch Class Battlecruisers, 1 Emperor's Wrath Class Battleship, 2 Courageous Class Light Cruisers, 3 Hasterdor Class Heavy Cruisers, 3 Borbéliard Class Guided Missile Destroyers, 7 Henston Class Destroyers and 8 Adamant Class Frigates. Admiral Jean-Pierre Boutroux was tasked with commanding the naval operations around the coast of Beleghata. Hundreds of transport vessels were following the fleet containing Guyomartandian soldiers, equipment, weapons and supplies. Jean-Pierre stood on the bridge of HHS Eternal Light, he was given the simple task of destroying any enemy fleets if they appeared and bombarding the coast if any fortifications or enemy soldiers had been spotted to allow for a swift victory for the army

Jean-Pierre watched the mighty warships of the Imperial Navy slowly begin their advance across the ocean to the Beleghatan coast. They had already passed the Imperial Territory of Champinau and were close to the coast of Beleghata. The first scouting patrols of the seas were sent from the flight decks of the aircraft carrier HHS Europa. He ordered that the Imperial vessels were to be put on high alert, in case of any assaults against them. He expected that the declaration of war would soon be declared against their state and the Imperial Land Army would be able to begin Operation Smouldering Ember. They planned to land in 4 areas. A port town and 3 beaches, then they would use bombers and strike fighters to attack enemy troops and positions. High Command expected a decisive victory using air support, the armour and artillery divisions and the mercenaries hired by the Imperial Government to make life easier for the soldiers who wouldn't have to fight against enemy air support.

The Empire would expect only total victory, no mercy would be given to any Beleghatan soldiers who didn't surrender to the Emperor's soldiers.
