I glare at her as my eyes turn red, I struggle weakly as I bare my fangs "Stop it stop it stop it STOP IT!! YOUR NOT MY MOTHER, YOU OFFEND HER HER JUST LOOKING LIKE HER!" As I shout and struggle I faintly glow green, the cavern starting to rumble.

Mireya's eyes spark with curiosity. "Hmm well then. So your son was treated in such wrong ways for what you think was turning on you yes that could make sense. So your saying that your wife, or whatever she was, was killed in front of him for it along with the rest of his family? What was the rest of his family? A mother protects all she can. Are you sure she never lied because I know if even I lied it was only to protect what i care about too."

The shapeshifter laughs and claps her hands together excitedly, jerking Jacob around while doing so. "I was hoping you'd ask that. You see I am a rare specimen being a shapeshifter. I blend right in with your guards. With my technique I got the info needed to know just were to build and find this cavern it was so easy. You gave it all right to us."

Chances are, based on him having been a soldier as a human AND being quite the active vampire, his abilities are probably at least a little higher. This is also assuming he's from Katerina's bloodline, as depending on the bloodline he is from he's even stronger:

Strength (100%): 5.69 tons
Strength (120%): 6.8 tons
Durability (Bone): 14.42 tons-force with a 25% CHANCE of them breaking
Durability (Flesh): 2.4 tons-force
Speed: 3542 mph
Reflexes: 0.00028 seconds, or 0.28 microseconds

Just so you know...yeah, I wouldn't let the vervain exit his system. Also, considering that it will take 2.4 tons of force just to be able to stab him with that knife....you MIGHT want to treat it with vervain, as if the vervain was poison or something. Otherwise I don't think your shapeshifter is strong enough to pierce his flesh. Considering you already HAVE vervain, that shouldn't be a problem :P (sorry John XD)

Well, initially I was trying to help you by saying "he's far too durable for the shapeshifter to stab John*...but suddenly- Vervain XP
I must say though he is holding up VERY well considering he had vervain injected directly into him. He must've built up somewhat of a tolerance to it over the years (which is possible, but total immunity is impossible)
