Yes, but it is best to consider the use case first.
Roe munitions aren't recommended against Vraxxi soldiers. Roentgenium is an incredibly malleable metal that is ineffective against standard armored personnel. The true benefit to Roe rounds is in their use against Vraxxi energy shielding. The rounds have - so far - been able to penetrate the shields. Casing explosive munitions in roentgenium is only recommended when the target is behind a protective force field.
And on an unrelated note, some RIA history:

Advising all, you just need to maintain distance and fire superiority over the Vraxxi ground soldiers. The use of snipers and teams tactics gives most militaries the advantage over them. Again, Long range combat is favorable, Medium range combat is neutral, and CQC is extremely advised against when encountering ground forces.
seems a bit optimistic at the end there, eh?
Can they punch through vraxxi ship shields?
As far as we can tell, the total package of the metal, anti-corrosive, being highly conductive, and immensely radioactive, appears to be the perfect storm to neutralize Vraxxi energy shields.
We need to stress that this is only effective against energy shielding. Roe munitions will not be effective at penetrating a ship's physical armor.
It really seems like artillery, chemical attacks, and machine guns would work significantly better than what has so far been the method for fighting the vraxxi. It also seems like usage of tanks, Helis, and mines would also help improve our odds.
Two artillery pieces, one to fire a roe round, another to fire a more armour piercing round after it. Would this be possible?
Our researchers have been toying with the idea of a normal round, its type and purpose varying of course, cased in a thin layer of roe. This would help offset the weight penalty of using pure roe munitions, the roe coating could puncture the energy shielding, and upon impact with a solid surface the malleable roe coating would easily melt or otherwise be forced away as the regular munition behind it "gets to work."
Of course, hence why I also stated fire superiority is also needed. But I am of a mindset that speed and manveurability is also needed since they can launch rapid orbital bombardments along with a rather quick redeployment of forces into a overwhelming assault. So I suggest of those, Snipers, Light tanks, Mortars/towed artillery, and if you feel you can deploy chemical agents without significant collateral damage then do so. As for machine guns, most modern militaries equip at least one crew served to every team in a unit. If you want to go heavier I would suggest leading them into kill boxes that have been set up in ambushes.
This idea would only require one gun, which would be very time effeceint. We are highly interested in this research as a whole. Would Shizenky be willing to partner with Candro in a research pact to better research these rounds?
We are currently not in combat. Is there any way we could help despite this?
Any continued work at this point will be purely field research. We would be happy to share the information we have with you and the rest of the region, but our focus has shifted towards improving the current recipe at this time.
As we have yet to directly interact with Vraxxi forces, our Admirals have seen it wise to follow the instructions of those with more experience. We're following your lead through this one.
We thank you, Communication is limited and stealth is absolute when entering what can effectively be seen as 'enemy territory' we have sent coordinates for your subs to dock in the archipelago.
Just saying, these new rounds will be rendered useless. Korriban is going discover a way to bring the shields down for good, so normal rounds would work. Another thing though. Just because the ships dont have shields doesn't mean they will be taken down easily, they do still have armor. Also, if you didnt know, the ships have not engaged anything but aircraft yet. They have not attacked any ground forces as of this time.
Well then it looks like these rounds are a pretty big hassle and not worth the effort required then.
*Once again, Byzantine cities except for Constantinople come back to life.*
*The Rivetish military intentionally makes a lot of noise in an attempt to draw the Vraxxi*
Like, incoherent screeching from little girls that got their candy taken away, with 255 microphones and 264 speakers in front of them?
Uh, not that kind of noise....
Like, a lot of military parades and lots of insults directed at the Vraxxi's religion
With [insert incredibly insane amount of microphones] pointed at them?
No
