A lot of this is still a work in progress but right now it is possible to start getting on the map and the OP for the RP will be up tomorrow afternoon CST. Thank you for your patience. Athretvari You're up first.

Posted. Athretvari claims the large barren island to the northeast of Nedea and southeast of the “S” at the end of “The Wild Depths” sea.

Athretvari makes no other claim.

Capital City: Arued City (on west coast).

This is a “provincial realm” of Athretvari, so you can label it “Athretvari”. (Not using Wicko.)

Sapientia - the Athretvarian Realm Upon Enkon Delta

(Who knew? Athretvars are ‘blue-blooded’. And got weird clothes and hair styles.)

BLUE ALIEN BABES INCOMING!

Seriously though. Very nice. For anyone that might want it, I will be posting different map types as well. There will be main political map and then several others. I noticed my little Nedea in your globe and thought maybe you'd like a more generic non grided, non labled Delta map for your personal cartography.

That’d be nice. Thanks!

Oh, they’re blue, but still “Hsapien” or ‘desecendents of Solterrans’ as Ath scientists like to define things.

Just a little, lite pre-RP RP to pass the time.

Major Curio rejoiced at the spaciousness of the hovcraft’s cabin. He stretched and pulled at his arms, legs, and neck. He couldn’t believe the amount of exhaustion he felt deep in his muscles and bones from the long hibernation. His eyelids were still swollen from minor hiber-damage, but he forced them open to see the beautiful spectacle that was Sapientia, the Athretvarian Realm Upon Enkon Delta, or the Arued, as it was known on his homeworld.

As Curio’s private hovcraft sped along the Newton Hovpath at 300 kph, he could recognize the influence of Ars Scientia in Sapientia’s grand architecture of glittering plasteel, but at times he captured a glimpse of a crowded housing district with an exotic mix of Athretvarian and non-Athretvarian colors and signage. “Immigrant neighborhoods,” he thought, marveling at the rich tapestry of shifting colors in one such district, the foreign faces a spendid range of deep reddish browns to bright pinks, swimming mightily in a writhing sea of various Athretvarian blues. “Remember to visit the immigrant districts, particularly the large one near Island Center,” he whispered barely loud enough that he could hear himself. A poppy-song with a mix of Athretvarian and Nedean lyrics filled the hovcraft’s cabin as it continued to speed westward toward the island’s capital.

Curio’s PersonAi recorded the request, and in a race to figure out and provide what its Master-Hsapien truly wanted, it flashed through Curio’s visual cortex log for recent cues indicating his real target of interest. The AI noticed the colorful neighborhood with numerous foreign advertisements just prior to Curio’s request. It registered his position at the time using the location-log from Curio’s subcranial universal tracker beacon, and then queried SapientiaArchives.ath for the name of the nearest residential neighborhood to that location that also had a large non-Athretvarian population.

“Cassini City,” appeared in Curio’s mind-eye and echoed through his auditory cortex.

“Cassini City,” he said half still amazed by the number of non-Athretvarians he saw in the neighborhood (”Nearly half?” he wondered) and affirming receipt of PersonAi’s work.

Curio felt a slight deceleration and a shift to the right as his hovcraft moved with half of nearby traffic to the rightmost lanes of the hovpath. He watched as the other half of traffic moved in a beautiful syncronized ballet to the left side of the hovpath. All the hovcraft continued to speed along as a full three crafts-wide corridor opened up between them in the center of the hovpath. Suddenly a fleet of black and gray hovcraft and police hovs blasted past him at nearly 420 kph. Curio wondered if that was the very man he had been ordered to travel across eight and half light-years to meet.

“Passing Island Center. ETAA Arued City, 13:41:20,” The Governor-General’s armored hovcraft’s copilot announced.

Hiithanus rotated the holopad image, and pinched its zoom wildly in and out. “What is it?”

General Hrobin Gravesz gently commandeered the holopad and reoriented the image. “We believe it’s a Do-Ec temple, buried beneath about 150 meters of loose surface debris and then a 75-meter thick, diamond-hard layer of lava. The area is located 15.8 kilometers northeast of Galileo.”

“On Volcan’s Finger?”

“Yes. Here.” Gravesz pointed near the base of a small peninsula on the northeastern coast of Sapientia. A rare area of the island sparsely inhabited due to its extremely harsh terrain.

Hiithanus grabbed the holopad and began twirling the image about, “How large again?”

“Um,” Gravesz reached for the holopad only to have Hiithanus slap his hand away. “Uh, about 5 thousand cubic meters. There are a number of chambers as you can see... if you...” He reached again only to be slapped away once more, much harder this time.

The Governor-General finally tired of playing with the holopad and handed it back to Gravesz. “How do we know it’s Do-Ec? It could be an unregistered pre-Phanon poacher’s or scavenger’s outpost town. There were hundreds scattered across the surface of Enkon Delta, and many of them here on Sapientia.”

“None have been found below the island’s volcanic baserock, and never of such size. The configuration and shapes of the chambers! No poacher’s or scavenger’s outposts have been found like this. It must be...!”

“Calm yourself, General. I agree.” Hiithanus looked out at the blur of hovcraft seeming to float gently backward along side. “It must be.”

Well now that everyone has their claim in I think I'll update the map.

Map update will be posted today along a with a few artificial friends inspired by Aths prelude RP.

Also no one, not even me, used their claim tokens. So on the offsite forum ill have the ledger posted for all your assets.

Alright, after a few crashes and a lot of hanging the map is updated. For some reason imgur keeps changing my image whenever I upload. Changes the format and the quality.

Here is the map currently. I ran out of time and was only able to get the player nations on it. The forum and stuff should be updated later. I really need a new machine to work on and a new image site to upload to. St Saratoga & Moarfall soon enough you need to tell me what cities you have.

Nedea Is the new OP going up soon?

Moarfall wrote:Nedea Is the new OP going up soon?

Maybe soon

Iv'e got a nice little chunk of change now in my bank, I think I'll start loaning out more money. mhahaha

I love checking out the trade forum on NS and seeing all these high quality stores that range from automobiles to coffe shops. And then I see "pineapples for sale" and I can't help but feel a warmth in my heart.

Stay the course you starry-eyed tycoon in the making. Whether its a lemonade stand on your street or selling gum on the playground we all started somewhere.

Haha, no, we live on a tropical world. But I can respect a fellow entrepreneur

Don't forget to vote on the poll.

Nedea wrote:Don't forget to vote on the poll.

Y’all lemme know what you think of this. I had this idea, with keeping with NCON/UCON lore, having NPC Nations that are offspring/ruminates of former Nations (BSE, Mare Solis, Briannia, etc.) could be interesting.

Savage

After a resounding turnout in the poll the next Delta Episode NPC will be a religious community built around a Doec ruin.

The Holy Sanctuary of Espearah. Espearah is a combination of the Doec words Esper and Earah. Esper meaning "Sacred" or "Holy" though the Doec were not deeply spiritual themselves, it's more likely Esper means "Revered" or "Cherished" and the worshippers just adapted the very little Doec we have to fit their religion. The other part, Earah, as far as we can tell, means "Land" but it could also mean "mud."

The Holy Sanctuary itself is made up of followers of "The Cult of the Fractured Star." The Cult is based on the worship of the Doec as they are seen as gods to the eyes of the Cult. The people themselves live in relative harmony but with religion comes a whole new slew of lifestyle changes that the worshipers must accommodate in their lives.

That's just what I have now for you. In an RP sense they are very intolerant to other faiths, Including the Church of St Saratoga. hah. With this implemented we will see two additions to the RP. 1, we have another sovereign nation to contend with and 2, The Cult of the Fractured Star will not just remain in it's own borders. So go ahead, make a post about some of your citizens joining the Cult. Or maybe you want to also be intolerant and issue a ban on Doec worship. The options are there.

Welcome! Fairytalelandia & Bereketia Please let us know if we can help with anything!

FYI Religion is a work in progress, I haven't officially named it yet and its doesn't have any lore or background. I know Ath has humanism if you count that.

Hope to be writing up a very detailed factbook on Scientific Universalism (a type/branch of “humanism”) soon. It’s one of my lore-building priorities.
