[ Prime Minister of Iran, Heisian Leira ]: "Well, you must remember that MECO is a fresh new organisation, and the sooner you join the more active role you have of shaping it for the future. Right now, no such changes are required. However, a single market does mean that our products have to reach the MECO standard, and our members are protected from valid or cheap products from around the world that do not meet our standards. In terms of financial institutions changes, there are none for now. However, you will be required to give a certain amount into the organisation based on your population and the size of the economy. There are also the Parliament and the House of Equality. The Parliament will pass regulations and laws that the House of Equality will form, and that house will oversee the budgets for commissions that specialise in different spheres of our lives, such as education, healthcare, infrastructure ect. We are still creating our regulations and laws and customs and that is why I think Oman joining so quick will allow Oman to be an active voice in that."

Sultan Qaboos bin Said Abdulrahman:

"Very well. I suppose that this is reasonable."

Sultan Qaboos bin Said Abdulrahman would have an expression on his face as he was still hesitant about working with Ba'aths and essentially working within an organization that legitimizes the continuation of Ba'athism and Arab Socialism within the region.

I am more concerned about Xerxes' random visit, is he about to spill the beans on the conversation he and Farahnaz had?

[ Prime Minister of Iran, Hesiana Leira ]: "In order for a country join MECO, all member states have to agree. That is the rule. But I feel that Libya belongs in MECO. A single market would do wonders for your economy, it would make your products become competitive worldwide whilst still protecting your interests. Freedom of movement between states, will allow Libyans to experience the Iranian life, Sudanese life, Syrian life. And that, is just the tip of the iceberg."

| Xerxes stares at her for a few moments before downing the rest of his whiskey in one gulp. Setting the glass down he’d give her a small smile, his right hand casually resting on the hilt of his saber. His next words would prove to her that he is indeed noble and regal, but can be as cold and calculating as his mother used to be when something infuriated her. |

    | Emperor Xerxes |: "Appears to me I will have to teach my nephew how to be a leader, and I will have to silence his advisers and teach them that they give council only when asked for it. Those are the options, or I will have the removal of his advisors be more of a permanent fix."

      EMPIRE OF JAPAN

    The New Leader

      Japanese General Election

        | October begins with preparations for the 2017 General Elections, where political parties announce their proposals and promises at a certain time of day for voters — In the heart of Tokyo, next to the Prime Minister's office, the new Liberal Democrat candidate, SHINJIRO KOIZUMI, takes to the streets to greet his voters . . . a few minutes later, KOIZUMI is directed to a podium set up provisionally in a public square to present his proposals and point out solutions to the national problems that Japan faces due to the low birth rate. The elections had many criticisms and questions coming from Parliament, mainly from the Opposition. ABE, being Prime Minister of Japan for two terms, the first from 2006 to 2007 and the second from 2012 until today. According to the change made by the Government, the mandate would last for another 2 years, which would officially end in 2018. However, the Cabinet announced that the general elections would take place normally. |

        | Thus, YUKI EDANO, the current leader of the Opposition, with the aim of defeating KOIZUMI, the Constitutionalists of his party announced his candidacy a month ago and the alliance with the Democratic Party for the People. EDANO said that KOIZUMI has no chance of winning the elections, which led the Opposition to call him "boy", as he has no political experience in occupying a high position. A few days later, election polls showed that KOIZUMI could win the elections, which certainly made EDANO furious. |

DAGUPAN STATION REOPENS FOR MANILA-DAGUPAN RAILWAY! RESTORATION OF OLD DAGUPAN STATION COMPLETE

Restoration work has been finished on Dagupan Station, which had existed prior to the beginning of the Manila-Dagupan Railway, but went defunct in the 1980s. Dagupan Station, before it went defunct, had also served a railway of the same name, which went defunct.

The residents of Dagupan celebrated the grand reopening, and retrofitting of Dagupan Station. Rather than unsafe platforms, there were instead, brand new platforms fitted with platform screen doors, a safety improvement to metro systems commonly seen throughout newer Chinese and Asian metro systems. Overhead lines were installed, as the trains on the brand new railway would use overhead electrification. The platforms were clean, andthere were ticket gates, which now supported the beep card, a system of card-based payment endemic throughout Manila.
There were no actual trains, since the railway would take many more years to complete. The brand-new Manila Main Station has reached 14% completion, and Filipino, Nusantaran, Paramerican youtubers and more. BecomingFilipino, a Canadian YouTuber who mainly resides in the Philippines, recently accepted an invitation from the PNR to visit the construction work at the Manila Main Station.

At the reopening ceremony, Benigno Aquino III, after inspecting the station, gave a speech.

      | BENIGNO AQUINO III: | [ PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES ] The reopening of Dagupan station is a grand testament to the Filipino commitment to rebuild national infastructure. We cannot let our railways stay neglected forever; coach rides will take 9 hours, a great annoyance to people who have family in Dagupan. Or rural regions for that matter. Bus routes between Manila and Dagupan will soon go away, replaced by the breeze of a brand-new railway. With cheaper fares too. |

His speech recieved applause. Now with Dagupan Station reopened, it will temporarily be used as a station for worktrains dedicated to laying tracks for the railway, worktrains to transport workers around the railway. Dagupan Station will also act as an information center, where inhabitants can ask about certain aspects of the new Manila-Dagupan Railway.

Aside from that, the Manila-Dagupan Railway mostly involves building new stations, restoring pre-existing ones, and of course, restoring the old tracks and replacing them with brand new technology. The railway will be standard-gauge. Rolling stock is still under development, status classified, but the big reveal is planned for when the underground Manila Main Station is complete.
