Defense Minister Le Hoang: Depending on how this meeting goes, the next course of action will decide who is the superior man.

Le Hoang would cut his eyes at de Wees and pull out a letter and begin reading it:

Defense Minister Le Hoang: “From His Excellency, Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong, State Supreme of the Indochinese Federation in all its glory.

Prime Councillor de Wees, under the chairmanship of this country’s previous leader, your presence on the continent was tolerated as a legitimate Asian state which happened to be ruled by an ethnic Dutch minority that identified with Asia. It leaves me with a feeling of betrayal however, to find out that according to numerous sources of intel, it has come to the Indochinese government’s attention that Amsterwald is nothing more than an apartheid state, oppressing, abusing and enslaving millions of people. What possesses your people to think that simply because they have pale skin and recessive genes such as blue eyes and blonde hair, makes you superior to the natives of Indonesia, I cannot comprehend. However, we will not allow a European slave state to continue existing in Asia. Denial of your government’s activities will only fan the flames growing inside the hearts of the politicians in Hanoi. Indochina wants to see Amsterwald free. Either you reform your country’s policies and provide equal treatment and quality of life for all your citizens, allowing Indonesians to enter places of government and high education, or you pack up your things and return to where you truly belong, in Europe. So I speak... Chairman Nguyen.

Le Hoang would put the letter in his pocket and lean forward, as though the letter had invigorated him with more passion and ferocity.

Bomoko wrote:Mr Minh: Oh that’s interesting, i’m guessing you’re here in Hanoi because of your husbands work.

Mrs Minh: Say, what’s the Benelux Union like or at least the part you’re from? We’ve only ever been to the US when it comes to traveling abroad.

Mr Minh: I’m sure they have princes and princesses over there, and many people ride horses with lots of castles and stuff. You know, like in the Disney movies on the telly.

The Wagners would soon come to realise many Indochinese had these misconceptions of Europe. Up until the late 80s, most Indochinese had little education covering the the world outside Asia (due to the censorship of the former communist govt) except for countries like the Soviet Union, the US & France which all had big roles to play in Indochina’s history.

| Lucienne chuckled. |

Lucienne: "There are princes, princesses and castles in Luxembourg...but it's not really like a fairytale. Everyone still works, pays taxes, et cetera. It's a lot more natural in Luxembourg than Belgium and the Netherlands, the other two nations of the Benelux Union. We have lots of dense forest, mountains and rivers."

He leaned forward as well, locking eyes with the defense minister. he spoke in a low tone, his eyes pulsing with anger.

Prime Councilor Stijn de Wees: "Like I said before in my address, there is no apartheid, no oppression, abuse or slavery. These are lies and false information spread by nations like Germany, and your own nation. I will not tolerate my nation to be slandered by an jumped up mad dog of a Vietnamese with no sense of civility. Amsterwald will endure just as she always has, despite your countries idiotic claims. Amsterwald refuses to 'reform' itself. It will stay the way it always has been."

Mrs Minh: I see~ You know Indochina’s a union of sorts too. We’re a federation, isn’t that right dear?

Mr Minh: Oh yeah, made up of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. We’re ethnic Vietnamese, and Vietnam is the best part of Indochina. The most developed, most modern, most powerful~

Mrs Minh: But of course, we’re all Indochinese and Vietnam’s power and wealth in recent years is an achievement for all the federation not just ethnic Vietnamese.

Mrs Minh had chimed in quickly to save her husbands words. Later on, the Wagners would realise how strict the country’s government was on the cohesion of all the ethnic groups of Indochina.

Defense Minister Le Hoang: Listen here you dirty, low down son of two whores! If you do not heed the warning of His Excellency, all the crucifixes in the world with your *Lord and Saviour on them will not be able to save your rotten souls from the Karma that will come your way. We will level this city to the ground and skin your people alive like the walking pieces of pork they are. This is your last chance. Tell me that you intend to change things in your nation, save your people de Wees. Don’t let your ego kill thousands of Waldenians de Wees.

He stands up out of his chair

Prime Councilor Stijn de Wees: "Your threats don't scare me and neither do you, Mr. Defense Minister. All I feel is pity for you. Rumor has it even your own government doesn't trust you due to how much of a reckless loose cannon you are. Amsterwald will stay the way it always has been, it will not surrender itself to people like you. This meeting is over."

Lucienne: "Oh, I see. So do Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam all have their own governments like the Benelux nations do, or is there just one federal government?"

Mr Minh: I think we all have one government and we elect representatives to go to the Parliament and bring our respective states’ issues to the Chairman and the rest of Parliament I guess. Isn’t it something like that dear?

Mrs Minh: Yeah, yeah something like that. Gosh, I always forgot how that government stuff works after elections. *chuckles*

Mrs Minh & Mr Minh seemed to be too immersed in the wealthy lifestyles to care too much about Indochinese politics.

Defense Minister Le Hoang: The next time i’ll return here for a meeting Mr de Wees, is when our men storm through this palace and topple your government. Then i’ll shove my arm so far up your buttocks that i’ll be able to play you like a hand puppet!

Le Hoang would jump out of his seat and storm out of the palace, to be escorted back to his helicopter.

Mrs Minh: You’re welcome to come over to my house anytime, I’m a housewife anyways. We’ll have a little gossip while the men are away~

An hour or two would pass with the Wagners & the Minhs enjoying each other’s company and exchanging questions about each other’s countries and backgrounds as they all ate. The Minhs would tell Arnold & Lucienne all about certain Vietnamese customs such as bowing when greeting elders, and about all the best restaurants and tourist locations in Hanoi for family outings. Eventually, it would get late and they’d all get up from the table and head to the front door.

Mrs Minh: It’s really been a pleasure to have you all here, may Buddha look favourably upon you all.

Mr Minh: You’re a very respectable man Mr Wagner, with a good family. Even your quiet son’s a handsome young man with great potential from how you’ve described his grades back in your home country.

With that, Felix & his family would leave and head back to their apartment. Arnold would gather them all in the living room before everyone was allowed to go to sleep.

Arnold: We’re in a new country, where the people talk, act and think differently from us. We must maintain our Luxembourgian values and remember who we are. I am here to earn money for you all and make our family’s life better. Do not disappoint me. Lucienne, my beautiful wife, take care of the house as you do best...

Arnold would then turn to Felix and stare at his son with a look of pride, he rarely looked at Felix in that way.

With that Arnold would walk off to the master bedroom, leaving Felix & Lucienne in the living room.
