General Requirements

* - Open to most of embassy requests;
* - Not open to regions which support extreme or tyrannical ideologies;
* - Not open to regions which may affect the safety of our members;
* - Respect our region's core values.

It is a request to all requesting for an embassy with Roman Byzantine Union to respect the requirements and ensure they meet the basic criteria and hence apply.
In special cases exceptions may be made, but for that, a suitable application must be personally sent to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (or even to Basileus / Symbasileus) who may judge it on an individual basis and hence approve or decline the same at his own discretion.

Important: Any attempt or form of recruitment from our region to another is prohibited. We do NOT use the Tag "Recruiter Friendly", and such a behavior may tend to end Embassies. If asking for puppet-accounts, permission should be requested first from the leaders.

For special cases or some important reasons, we may agree embassies with regions which maintain embassy connections with our Roman Byzantine Union for various reasons or even based on a treaty.
However, if a region of a special case of embassy connection may tend to an unusual type of faction or politics, or to a type of alignment, the leaders (or members) of that region are responsible for their own actions and their politics, ideas and actions are limited to their region only;
- but are not permitted to affect in any way the reputation, the dignity and the relations of Roman Byzantine Union.

Special Cases of Embassies: to be decided by the Government.

In the case when the foreign relations with other regions needs diplomats to be assigned, we perform a list with our diplomats assigned abroad and those available for certain embassies.
Ambassadors and diplomats received from other regions are presented in a list below mentioned. However, we do not seek foreign diplomats as requirement for an embassy.

Note: that who want to become diplomat (or ambassador) for the Roman Byzantine Union, he have to keep a main nation inside our region and to create a 'puppet nation' (auxiliary) which is registered to a certain embassy.

1. pro-Nazi or pro-fascist types

2. "anti-revisionist" Communist types

3. other types of extreme or tyrannical ideologies

4. dangerous raider/invader types

5. other bad types

' These are types of regions with which we refuse embassy connections and when necessary we may keep a list with some of them for various reasons. We cannot mention our reasons and we are sorry for the inconvenience.
