The Green Land of Forest is a gargantuan, orderly nation, ruled by John Forest with an iron fist, and renowned for its free-roaming dinosaurs, multi-spousal wedding ceremonies, and ubiquitous missile silos. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, humorless, devout population of 29.492 billion Forestians are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The medium-sized, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Industry, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Foresteria. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 39.7%.

The frighteningly efficient Forestian economy, worth a remarkable 4,156 trillion Trees a year, is fairly diversified and dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Woodchip Exports, Furniture Restoration, and Uranium Mining. Black market activity is rampant. Average income is an impressive 140,947 Trees, with the richest citizens earning 6.2 times as much as the poorest.

Citizens must pay to enjoy Forest's pristine beaches, the government is a proud sponsor of the National Gaming Association, a National Academy regulates grammar and usage, and legislators work 24/7 due to an influx of single-issue bills. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Forest's national animal is the fox, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is Forestism.

Forest is ranked 318,308^th in the world and 153^rd in Canada for Nicest Citizens, with 0.45 average smiles per day.
