Hello and regards to all Yggdrasilians from our games committee colleague Ananke in 10000 Islands! If you have just woken up after a long, sinister and heroic dream about zombies, and are rubbing your eyes, you are invited to take advantage of XKI’s extended sign-up period to the Islanders Beach Championship.

Old and new nations can compete in this friendly interregional event, hosted on the shores of the beautiful 10000 Islands. We are looking forward to a beach party with strange events, sun, sand and surf.

The Championship will start on 7th of November.

Athletes will compete in 8 disciplines:
1) Beach Fashion Show.
2) Taco Island Sand Sculpting.
3) "Wipe-Me-Out-Not!" Surfing.
4) Silly Hat Limbo Competition.
5) Individual Sailing-Boat Orienteering.
6) "Under The Sea" Spear Gunning.
7) Rock Pool Forage, Cook Off, and Judges' Toast.
8) "Spice My World" Cocktail Making.

This is an interregional sports event where you merely have to sign up to be in. You will be able to contribute roleplay posts about your athletes and spectators in the observers’ seat as well, if you like, but these are optional.

How to participate? Simply post a list with names of your 8 athletes in this thread.

How often are cross regional games? I think that happened last Winter..

Also the zombie invasion cause Iwaku's population to grow by 20 nations so far.. I thought death was sposto lower that..

Chibi Thembria is only 3 inches tall and weights maybe a few ounces. Chibi Thembria eats anything smaller than them but prefers to eat leaves from the life tree, Goddess lice, and wings of any sort. They are all so know for unintentionally starting fires when planning mass grill outs. In fact they have bad luck when it comes to fire and often end up on fire.. This leads to them running around spreading the flames. When sleepy Chibi Thembria falls down where ever but prefers to sleep on heads and in pockets.

It's ... more a question of size, really. Even if you were to puff yourself up, I doubt you'd be able to intimidate a wyrm who is in the vicinity of tens of meters long in wingspan.

Sure! It would be somewhat confusing if you use the same handle though, maybe sign up with a name like NSGuy or something?

Btw, if anyone has any recent Factbooks related to Yggdrasil (like Sternberg did) I'll be happy to put that up on the WFE for a few days. :D

It was roleplayed as such, as a bunch of rich yet insignificant islands that were once under the joint authority of Estonia and Finland.

Things got a bit messy when I tried to introduce more elements to the story - that the Elkeans bought over a large part of the Elba's land for a dirt cheap price after the Kingdom of the Elba went bankrupt. Problem is I don't know where conceivably can I hide those lands; plus I do wish to reconcile the story with other RPers in this land, as well as NS, as well as Yggdrasil so must as well detach the plot from the real world (essentially the references to Estonia and Finland). It gives me a lot more room to roleplay about.
