LOL, I take pride in my unhealthy citizens as a nation that has no market restrictions. I don't it's so much that the population is obese, it's just that most of them are smoking by the end of middle school.

My nation is like the 50's, but underwater, with a complete laissez-faire government (that's apparently doing pretty okay) and is now completely dominated by magic hating ponies.

the equestrian civil war seems like something my OC would take advantage of. use the chaos as a distraction and destroy both sides when hes finished.
