Where's Bundy?

Who said it was easy?

My whole contention with The Coalition is the sanctimonious way it repeats the mantra of its "legitimacy"

In the year or so I have been here the numbers have not supported that claim

The brutal fact is that you( not you personally the collective Coalition) need this region more than the region needs you - if the forum went down again wgo here would notice = who noticed last time

Like any other government you are only legitimate whilst you hold power, and over the last decade the Coalition has honed its skills in this respect that it retains those powers

You are the Legitimate government now, but if a majority of the WA nations chose a none Assembly nation to be their delegate the Coalitions "legitimacy" would cease overnight

Acknowledge that fact publically and in a fashion that cannot be rescinded and I will resign my citizenship and darken your doorstep no-more

The Coalition of the South Pacific is the legitimate government of this region. Someone taking the delegacy by brute force and in disregard of the Charter and the Code of Laws does not mean the Coalition suddenly stops being legitimate. If the people want to alter the government then there are mechanisms for that, namely the calling of Great Councils. If the situation is such that the people must revolt against the Coalition, then the government was not legitimate anyways. However, that is not the case now.

Voting has begun.

May the best candidate win.

The agnostic collective

Things are not likely to change by constant criticism.
If you want something done, do it yourself.
Take action and build up your influence among the people.
Only then will you see your ideals given form.

So what happens when a non-Assembly nation exceeds the endo-cap, and continues to receive more endorsements?

I here I may actually win a write in to a cabinet position or two. Cool.

The same thing that happens to "Assembly nations". They get a warning, and if they don't listen, a one-update ejection. Then they are free to return.

And what if it isn't their fault that they receive so many endorsements?

Yeah that is true. They can't stop people from endorsing them, they could ask them to take back the endorsement but some people may not. Also the fact that members of the CSS can get more than the endo-cap is very un-safe but also an advantage.

The Solar System Scope wrote:And what if it isn't their fault that they receive so many endorsements?

You don't get more than 150 endorsements by accident. You must have been endorsing back hundreds of other nations, in which case you have already been notified by the CSS that there is an endorsement cap and that you are getting close to it.

If you still go over it, you WILL get ejected for one update, accident or not. Like I said, it's not like those ejections are permanent.
