So did I that happens every time there's a change with me. Also 100th for most beautiful environment. 2mins till Doctor Who! I'm going watch it even thought I don't like the program because everyone is always on about it at work. The only episode I've watched is The age for Steel part one and half of part two.

Doctor Who ain't that bad. It's more than 50 years old. The oldest series still on air.

Who's Pete?

There is a new poll!
Help us choose the Chief Marshal of the Lampshade Bridage! :D

Nothing. We would move on to the next position.

Best Doctor Who Quotes:

"Oh, that's cool, your cool, oh wait, YOUR WEARING SAND SHOES!!!"

"It's a Screwdriver, not a water pistol"

"One of them's a Zygon. Big red thing covered in suckers? Yeah. I'm not judging you."

"Tell them to run away. Those exact words. I want you to be famous for those words. I want people to call you Colonel Run Away. I want children laughing outside your doorstep because they found the house of Colonel Run Away."

"You will defeat six billion Cybermen with four Daleks? No, we will defeat 6 billion Cybermen with one Dalek"

"This is not war. This is pest control"

Why are most of them from The Day of the Doctor?

The agnostic collective

Half of them are from The Day of The Doctor mostly because they were the first ones that came to mind. Usually, I need time to gather my thoughts because I prefer to plan ahead. Those were probably the first ones because sub-consciously those were the most memorable for me.

Best quotes:
"One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine."
-First Doctor, William Hartnell

"People spend all their time making nice things and then other people come along and break them."
-Second Doctor, Patrick Troughton

"A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting."
-Third Doctor, Jon Pertwee

"Answers are easy. It's asking the right questions which is hard."
-Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker

"You know how it is; you put things off for a day and next thing you know, it's a hundred years later."
-Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison

"What's the use of a good quotation if you can't change it?"
-Sixth Doctor, Colin Baker

"Anybody remotely interesting is mad in some way."
-Seventh Doctor, Sylvester McCoy

"I love humans. Always seeing patterns in things that aren't there."
-Eighth Doctor, Paul McGann

"Oh, the pointing again. They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do, assemble a cabinet at them?"
-War Doctor, John Hurt

"You lot. You spend all your time thinking about dying, like you're going to get killed by eggs, or beef, or global warming, or asteroids. But you never take time to imagine the impossible: that maybe you survive."
-Ninth Doctor, Christopher Eccleston

"Crossing into established events is strictly forbidden. Except for cheap tricks."
-Tenth Doctor, David Tennant

"Nothing is ever forgotten, not completely. And if something can be remembered, it can come back."
-Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith

Quote not available for Twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi

"If you didn't put the ad in the newspaper and I didn't put the ad in the newspaper, who...put the ad in the newspaper?"
"I hate being wrong in public..."
Who's Missy, eh?

Wearing my t-shirt now, Keep calm and call the Doctor, it says and has a TARDIS on it. I even have a T-shirt with the Lieutenant's name on the back!! You don't know my name... The Lieutenant's name is my name, we are the same person, my and the Lieutenant.

me*

I'm really hoping Capaldi carries over some of the Malcolm Tucker persona over into this new role!

It would be refreshing for the Doctor to develop more acidic wit - might go over the heads of the target demographic tho!
