Who exactly is Me! ??? *not grasping the concept*

There is a nation called Me but it isn't in TSP.

Nobody. Have you already forgotten that the Lampshade Cabinet elections are supposed to be crazy and lack in common sense? :P

For the record, only those who have actually submitted their candidacies are candidates. The other options are there as joke options. If you want to look at it this way (even if it's just a joke option without actual value): everyone voting for Me! voted for themselves, so we just have many write-in individual votes, not one single block for one specific person. Except the None (Re-Open Nominations) option, which will actually force nominations for that position to be reopened.

Kesshite wrote:Why are you even including that option then?

Like I said, Me! isn't an actual nation. It's a joke option for you to vote for yourself, or to pretend other people voting for that option are actually voting for you. It will never win because it isn't an actual candidate.

The agnostic collective

You'll never believe what I saw just now. I was going to the store hoping to beat the weather.
I looked up and saw an Unmanned Surveillance Drone. It looked remarkably similar to this:

Freedom? What's that? Doesn't sound very profitable to be honest.

Actually, I'm guessing that it wasn't; unmanned surveillance drones:
1. Are not too common, due to their high cost and relative newness. By this, I certainly don't mean that they're not used in significant numbers; it's just that the vast majority of surveillance is not carried out by drone.
2. They fly really fu*king high. Too high for you to usually be able to see, and almost certainly too high for you to to be able to make it out as a drone. That's a large part of the point. You're not supposed to be aware of it and thus be able to shoot it down, begin to act more secretively and take precautions to avoid surveillance, or run away from it.

More likely you saw a normal civilian plane landing and thought it looked like a UAV, or it could have been a helicopter, although what you said is certainly not impossible. Also, MQ-9 Reapers are not used for surveillance, only for combat missions in , so even if it was a drone, it wasn't a Reaper. More likely it would have a Predator, drones which are used for reconnaissance, and look almost identical. (A Reaper is basically just a large Predator designed to hold more weapons.)

Could have also been a RC plane owned by a civilian nearby. For a couple hundred bucks you can buy RC models that "look" like small military drones but are just short ranged radio-controlled toys. Sure to shock and awe your neighbors ... and get their conspiracy theory juices flowing. To add to it, these things are usually flown low for a few reasons, one being it's illegal to fly unmanned vehicles above 400 ft in the US without getting a permit from the FAA. Drone/RC plane owners still do it, but if they get busted they can get heavy fines or much worse, a plane hits their toy..well, jail time with extra charges dependent on damages to the plane and/or injury/death of it's occupants.

But yeah, seems pretty unlikely he saw a Reaper or Predator UAV unless he lives near a military base where they may fly from. Would help to know his location. What nation and area, etc. could pinpoint if it was local law enforcement and such.. though the few departments that have drones use primarily the copter-type, not plane-type.

The agnostic collective

I never said it was the one in the picture. I said it looked similar. It was flying low enough to make it out very clearly and was way too loud to have been an RC plane. I seriously doubt it had any weapons, but it was clearly similar in make/model.
