In effect, posting in the SotG is raising a flag going, "Hey, guys, I know y'all aren't involved directly in this, but feel free to have your characters know it is happening and feel free to, within reason, comment on it and assume, for the sake of your personal canon activities that it is occuring."*

*Not a replacement for the Four C's, merely a supplement to such. Advertisement is a good thing.
