On this night in Aurepolis, the streets run red with blood, and red-clad corpses litter the streets surrounding Dynatos Square. Emboldened and justified after one of their own was impacted by a makeshift Molotov cocktail, Imperial Enforcers fired upon the rioting Defiants, killing 17 in the crowd and arresting 31 individuals unfortunate enough to be caught within their ranks after the first salvo of gauss fire dispersed the protesters. Peaceful or pugilistic, every single Defiant in the square was put under arrest and taken into custody. As of this moment, it is hard to tell whether or not those fired upon were among those who had initiated the assault against Rhomaian Enforcers.
Home video of the riots and subsequent police brutality was recorded by onlookers and uploaded to social media for the world to see, especially by leftist and anti-monarchist advocates within the borders of Swaneburgh, Alexandria-Prussia, and Terra Novian Atlantis. Swaneburgh and the USSR have signed a travel agreement which will allow our citizens to travel between our nations without visas.

The royal family hosted another glamorous party in the capital of Paris. The party glittered as always. The Princesses, Duchesses and all other royal ladies wore headpieces designed by the royal jewelers. All the headpieces are made from Diamonds, emeralds, pearls and feathers. As always Swaneburgh's elite turned out for the $2 million party at the Paris Opera House.

In a shocking turn of events Elizabeth McCord was elected Minister-President which makes her the first female Minister-President and first independent to win the office. She beat Unionists Party candidate Samuel Daniels and the Democratic Party candidate Edward Cruz. Minister-President Elect McCord will meet with HM the King and the current Minister-President tomorrow in at the Executive Building in Capitol Complex. Stock Markets in both Kingston and Charleston fell due to uncertainty of the newly elected Minister-President. The swearing in ceremony is expected to take place on January 2. Many believe that Minister-President McCord will keep most of the current secretaries.

Protests emerge in soldidarity with communists worldwide, especially with FARC, in Backatri's capital. The protests have come about due to a general feeling that free speech laws have been restricted simply to stop the communists. Currently, around 2000 persons are protesting peacefully. Standard police protocol has been followed to contain the protest.
PM Graciano has made no comment on the issue, although insider sources say that mood of the House of Parliment is very tense.

The protestors have since moved to the Park of Heros, a park within Port-of-Backatri established to honor those killed in the Husaynstan conflict. Protests are still peaceful. They intend on a long term occupation of the park until their demands of peace with FARC are met.
The Communist party of Backatri is gathering steam, although it is hampered by its association of FARC.
The Bundesrat Building has been set ablaze by communist reactionaries. By the time of arrival of EMS services the building was already beyond rescue.
It is believed the communist party members helped the reactionaries. 3 Congressmen are missing and a warrant has been sent out internationally.
Hofbach accused in a state speech the communists for undermining the TFRTNA. He will ask for emergency powers to deal with the issue. Hofbach will also contact the USRR Premier to discuss the situation.
The TFRTNA is bound by the peace treaty to have a set amount of communist seats. The TFRTNA is now looking to get that paragraph null so they may ban the party.
