OOC: Much like modern day Colombia, Backatri has a slew of communist rebel groups attempting to establish a Marxist utopia across Backatri. For my own convinence, instead of writing stories for M-18, ELN, and the other rebels, I've lumped them all into FARC, based off of the actual FARC in Colombia.
Also like Colombia, the "civil war" is marginalized by a massively larger army and better technology. FARC has less than 25,000 people, as mentioned earlier, and is expected to lose steam as time goes on. As opposed to most wars and even most guerilla warfare, FARC has taken to evading the military and only attacking on their terms. As a result, FARC is mostly located in the jungle in small cells of 8-12, with barely communications between each other.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this. But you need the backing of one of the GIASC members, who then takes it to the GIASC where they vote, 9 of out 10 times it results in no nuclear power.
