Very well put Boridium. This Separation of Church and State Amendment is vital to the liberty of the minds of the citizens of the Allied States.
Boridium lets get this straight, there is no specific religion being pushed on anyone, there is no official declared religion, but I will fight to retain the rights of prayer in school and other things.

This sue case is stirring up impeachment. I know this is a leftist newspaper and they shove it off, but the the right is getting stirred. Interesting stuff. I think they won't do it.
Oh gosh I hope they don't impeach. Republicans still seem to be afraid of using the "i-word", let's keep it that way. It's the Democrats (admittedly assisted by those on the hard right like Sarah Palin) drumming up impeachment.
Agreed, I think sueing is just fine.
Yeah so did I at first but the Democrats have done a good job of taking the lawsuit and equating it to "the first steps toward impeachment".
They just don't want that on their "idol" right now. It won't show good if they won the sue case, and if they did, thats just another bullet for the GOP.

As you may have seen on the forums, our Chief Justice will unfortnately be inactive for the next couple of weeks. Therefore, I need to make the following announcement
ANNOUNCEMENT: By the power vested in the me by Article IV §1 Clause 3 of the Constitution of the Allied States, I hereby appoint Peruvian highlands to be Chief Justice of The Allied States until Boridium makes an announcement indicating his ability to run. Peruvian highlands will oversee the remainder of the midterm elections (although he might just declare all of the candidates winners because everyone who declared is guaranteed their office)
Also, is there anyone interested in serving as Interim Secretary of State? If so, telegram me... We'll need a State Department to handle matters such as the new embassies with The Allied Republics and The Eternal Knights.

It's the beginning of the month (August 1) so that means it's tax filing season. The tax thread is here: http://w11.zetaboards.com/Allied_States_Forum/topic/10448982/1/ , all citizens please check it out to avoid having your monetary assets seized by the Treasury.
Because of the whole banking scheme put into the tax code by New Christland, tax collection will be a lot harder on me this time around lol but hopefully it will be easier on the citizens with bank accounts as Allied Bank will be responsible for filing the taxes. Just in case though, people with accounts at Allied Bank, make sure they have taken care of it.
