Yeah what Diamete said. There's no way to wage war in nation states (outside of role-playing of course), so instead people do something called "raiding". Basically a bunch of nations move to a region and endorse a guy until they overthrow the region previous leader.

Geradin empire

Considering Osiris is one of the biggest region in the entire community, I don't see any feasible "overthrowing" to really work. Even if the person is magically "overthrown", probably will be re-instated after raiders leave.

I believe Osiris was overthrown once. That or they came really close to successfully overthrowing the government.

We're a GCR. GCR's have coups. Most of it's internal, though, or at least started internally. It's pretty tough to be able to take it from the outside without having any sort of, at the very least, "sleeper" WA nation in the region first. It's one of the reasons all the GCRs keep such a distance between the Delegate's Endorsements and the Endorsements of folks who aren't Regional Security Council members.

Welcome back Diamete, I'm really glad to see you back!

To those who aren't aware, Diamete was one of the longest serving diplomats in Osiran history, and is the former Chairman of the Council of Ma'at/Hedjet (when it was the security council).

Aye, welcome back Diamete <3 Good to see you back with us, and hope you'll stay a while!

I have been noticing a number of conversations occurring in feeder/sinker regions about "wars" and "taking over a feeder/sinker". My old intel Spidey senses are tingling. There may be a new Durka-style plan being formulated to grab a BIG CHAIR.

How do we prepare for this supposed surprise attack Nto-11?

Osiris is one hell of a region. I bet in a year it'll be better than ever. o7

A great wall of turnips should do the trick.

Lined with the stinkiest cheeses we can find.

Attention All Warriors, Soldiers, Tacticians, Adventurers, And Politicians:

Have you ever felt that there is more to nationstates than legislative squabbling and political debate?

Have you ever wanted more than a mundane existence of answering issues and debating on the RMB?

Have you ever felt bored waiting for gameplay opportunities that are few and far between?

If so, the Commonwealth of Free Nations Foreign Legion is the place for you. As a Legionnaire, you would be called upon to serve alongside a group of elite fighters both from the CFN and around “The World”, that is neither raider nor defender, but a force that seeks to free the oppressed, punish the immoral, and above all else, have fun with R/D gameplay. We are not ideologically motivated, and accept soldiers from any side of the political spectrum. Legionnaires can continue to reside in their region of origin, or move to the CFN if they wish, but CFN citizenship is not required to join. The Legion will, when needed, be assembled and offered participation in a variety of military operations. For those who excel consistently, higher ranks, voting rights in the CFN, and invaluable experience are available.

Whether you seek something to pass the time, excitement to spark up your gameplay, or experience/advice to be used in your own personal gameplay endeavors, the Legion welcomes you with open arms.

Osiris? Are we like Illuminati?

Belvada wrote:Osiris? Are we like Illuminati?

Not really.

Elysium of heroes

Belvada wrote:Osiris? Are we like Illuminati?

Osiris has 6 letters. 6 is divisible by 3. A Triangle has 3 sides. Illuminati confirmed XP

What's really funny is that the old Osiris flag used to be a green pyramid with the Eye of Horus within it. Think what you will ;)

Perhaps the eyes on Osiris' pyramids are closed at the time of inspection.

ILLUMINATI ALERT ILLUMINATI ALERT (BWEEP BWEEP BWEEP) ALL UNITS ON HIGH ALERT, SUSPECTED THREAT

Howa ... between 2004 and 2007 I was one of the Game's leading intel operatives. I don't say that to brag; I simply state fact that anyone who has been around will be able to verify. In that time, I became a Guardian of Secrets. I have retired from so much of that but from time to time I see patterns forming from tidbits across several regions ... often long before there is any evidence a pattern is forming. In NS, some are grateful for those who see ahead ... and some are frustrated by it. This may be a false alarm and I am seeing bogeymen where none actually exist. But if something is now afoot, I have sounded the warning.

I feel like we are inherently safer simply due to having TAO as our glorious Non-WA Delegate.

I agree
