But I don't think that the US has high political freedom... The electoral vote alone could move it down to moderate political freedom.

I think I am going to create another country and have it mimic all of the US' current policies to find out howvit ends up.

This country will make decisions based upon the US' policies in real life. Currently, just based on the survey, it is an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy.

Hiya, folks!

I wanted to let everyone know about an awesome and exciting new opportunity that's coming up - effective in about a week, we're changing how the World Assembly Delegate works! Here are the key facts:

1) Any WA nation in the region can run for Delegate

2) All WA nations in the region can vote for Delegate

4) Voting will be held on-site via a regional poll which will last for a minimum of three days

3) The Delegate will serve a 1-month term concurrent with calendar months (So the January term will be a few days longer than the February term, for example)

5) During their term, the Delegate has control over what is in the World Factbook Entry, with two restrictions:
a) The WFE must always contain a link to Equilism's forum
b) The WFE may be vetoed by the Founder if it is not in good taste

6) The Delegate is responsible for voting in the World Assembly according to the region's wishes, and may gauge these wishes by in-game poll, off-site poll, or both.

The first round of voting is likely to start on November 25th, so if you're interested in being our December Delegate it's not too early to start planning your campaign and lining up support!

Here is the... Constitution of Banyuwangi , so if your monday was bad, I would bring you a smile. Rate my factbook if you like it, and don't rate it if you don't like it :)

I'm simply too occupied to be the WA Delegate at the moment and reject me as candidate. If you endorse me, you get my endorsement back: the fast and easy way to receive one endorsement.

Just do it,

Banyuwangi

Same with me at the moment. I don't have the time to be delegate but I will return any endorsments I get.

Russian republics ceased to exist!?

Means that the nation failed to log on in the past 30 days, so your nation automatically "CTE". Don't worry though if it happens to your nation if you have to go on extended vacation or anything. Simply logging in again "revives" your nation.

I think that Russian Republics was not his country. He was, in fact, a very large country, one of the biggest in Equilism if my memory is correct.

Yes, Russian Republics has been in Equilism for quite awhile. Chances are, he'll restore his nation sometime.

I must apologise for my recent absence, I had a weekend at the beach then have had to deal with a somewhat spotty internet connection.

Thanks to Astarial for passing on the new Delegate policy, I hope to see a few familiar faces throwing their hats in the ring when the next election comes up.

I'm not exactly sure how all of this works, but will you, assuming that you are allowed to, be running again?

I've been through that as well. Once upon a time, along long time ago, I was a Left-Wing Utopia.

Long time ago my nation was a Capitalist Paradise or Scandinavian Liberal Paradise. Now then, I run a theocratic Orthodox Jewish empire, with little personal/civil liberties. You can earn money and work, but thats all. In the future I plan that I'll change all that authoritarian conservatism, Ragusa will not be a dictatorship anymore. :)

I've enjoyed Westwind's Anarchy for a few years now. Been considering working towards a Benevolent Dictatorship though.

Sooooooo.... is anybody thinking of running for delegate?

C'mon, it'll be fun!!

Is it a hard thing to be?

Penumbrapolis wrote:Is it a hard thing to be?

You're not in the WA so wouldn't you not be able to run anyway?

It's as hard of a job as you make it, but if you don't please your voters, they won't vote for you again.

True, is it hard to be in the WA?
