Need some feedback on this.
Drop the huge 402mm gun (its obsolete) and add more ASM's...
As Nik said, get rid of the 402mm... and most other guns while you're at it, besides the CIWS. The point of a guided missile destroyer is not to close within gun range of a target, but rather remain at stand-off range. The primary armament should be missiles, not gun turrets. The latter should be used in a self-defence role, if the target is not worth a missile (pirate boat), fire support, or to fire warning shots at vessels and support boarding actions.
Keep one of the 127mm. Get rid of the rest and replace them with VLS cells. The benefit of VLS cells over gun turrets is range and versatility. A gun can only fire a limited type of shells and is heavily constrained by range and attack mode. A single VLS cell can accept Surface to Air Missiles, Anti-Ballistic Missile Missiles, Anti-Missile Missiles (point defence application), Anti-Ship missiles, Cruise Missiles and Anti-Submarine Warfare Missiles.
I think I have now used the word missile more often in just this post, than I have in the last two months combined. But my point remains, versatility with a VLS system, instead of guns, can ensure a ship that can bring more firepower to bear and improve its defences.
I should note that other than the comments I made about the weaponry, it looks good!
Yeah, guns are useless on the modern battlefield. You also need SAMs and point defense missiles (like SeaRAM), otherwise it will get wrecked by aircraft.
So more missiles huh? Ok.
Also expect more ships to come out, and maybe some aircraft.

So... I'm in need of some international sponsors for the Regional Cup 2015 - my old region's annual soccer tournament (I'm still permitted to participate in it as I established the tournament and co-established the region).
