Chaining infected up to a pole around my capital. It will keep away wanna be looters and disguise us from the infected, at least partially.

Going to ask to reconfirm what the answer was, but we don't lose any citizens from this zombie thing? This is my first zombie event, if these are common, and also, what type of stance is this region taking? Are we going for a cure, or exterminate? B/c somewhere on the forums, I believe I saw it said that the regions are the ones overall who cure and stuff. Thank you in advance!
It won't affect your population, no.
If the disease strikes in the heart of my nation, Quarantine immediately for all infected. If infected start to become hostile, the military will take care of it. Mostly cure than extermination.
Alright then, also, can anyone tell me how fast population is supposed to grow? And if anything can make it go faster/slower?
