Hope they don't just look at the situation in the U.S. i mean they really lost the plot when Obama care was brought in. Private care is alright if you can afford it but for those on lower income or unemployed that is out of the question.

Kringalia wrote:I don't think the default should be that people must like Hillary. Some like her. Some legitimately think Bernie represents a better alternative. That's not necessarily because they are looking for an excuse. They just aren't convinced by her. And that's fine. That's democracy.

I'm not saying people MUST like Hillary. But, I'm saying that because she's a woman the deck has been stacked against her for a long time. It's a deeper cultural misogyny that we can't talk about -- and is impossible to prove. But it shows when we complain about her tone of voice or suggest that she's being "inauthentic." These are charges that wouldn't be leveled at a man.

I get it. Hillary's been around for a long time and Bernie is new. It makes sense, your high school doesn't know a world without Hillary so of course the new guy seems exciting.

Honestly, Hillary has been in the public eye for most of my life as well. Unabashedly, I adore her. My she's been a divisive figures since the '90s.

I mean, they have been calling Rubio fake or "inauthentic" too, as an outsider I believe she isn't being honest not because she a woman but because she has flaws, but maybe thats true for Americans

No, you believe she isn't being honest because of the way the media has covered her for the past 20 years. Compare the way people feel about her and Bill. Her husband is still one one of the mos respected politicians, but she's branded as inauthentic and calculating.

I may be able to advise you in regards to that.... I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Election fraud may or may not be one of them.

You don't say.

Moe:"Hey hammer head, what's she mean about all that election stuff?"

Larry:"I swear, i don't know Moe..."

Moe:"Ohhhh, ignorant ehh? What about you chowder head, what's this all about!?"

Curly:"Well ya see Moe, it goes like this. We was havin' an online debate. Except I thought they said 'steal the erection'. That's when i ran back under the covers!"

I mean, I'm spanish, so I honestly dont know how on earth my opinion could have been influenced by the media for the last 20 years specially since I'm only 17 years old. I never heard anything about her neither about her politics in spanish media (they dont discuss that here). My only source of opinion is a couple of reddit threads, with the one comment I linked here before being the fundamental reason why I believe at least some Americans could think she's being dishonest in this campaing, as the comment provides qoutes and their sources for a bunch of contradictions. Im definetly not arguing that she's the only politician who has contradicted herself (that would be a huge lie), I'm just trying to give you my thoughts as an outsider.
(I also really dislike her because she against making pot legal there in the USA, not even decriminalizing it, which considering the huge problem you guys have with your prisions seems like a huge error to me, but That's a story for another day)

*Selfnote, re-read comments before posting them, how on earth sounds too agressive *

Eh, the problem Hillary faces is the same one all prominent women in high level positions face; traits required for success at a high level are viewed positively in men, but negatively in women.

The US election seems to be following a recent trend of anti-establishment sentiment. UKIP, The SNP, and Corbyn have all reaped the benefits of that in the UK, and I believe other European countries have witnessed a rise in anti-establishment parties too. Sanders and Trump's popularity partly comes from their status as 'outsiders', whereas the likes of Clinton are seen as being part of the political elite who really aren't popular at the moment. Her gender might be the reason some people don't like her, but I don't think it's particularly significant, at least not among democrats.

Sounds promising. I like the live rankings and historical tracking stuff, means I will be able to stop doing it myself if they do it right. Couple of those new things I think could be OK for me, others really bad. Not too sure about adjusting the current scales - cost me a few #1 trophies last time they did that. Hoping I get some extras out of it this time!
