If you leave the region and update in another you will lose all your endorsements unless the people that endorsed you also move to the new region. You will need people to endorse you again after that, they won't be saved if you move back I'm afraid.

Ah, sorry! I should have explained better, update is when all the nation and regional stats are updated on the site, it happens twice a day. If you want to take part in military activity (and I happen to be the leader of our fabulous regional force so you're taking to the right person!) you will lose your endorsements as the way R/D works is by taking advantage of this update mechanic but speaking as someone who used to hoard endorsements before getting involved in military action I can testify that the fun ya have doing it makes it worth it! :D

As for why you're in The South Pacific, your nation has to be in a region somewhere and any new nation will initially spawn in one the five Pacific regions. You can move region easily, but we'd like it if you stuck around; at least until you've seen what we have to offer.
