I'm a bit bummed this game isn't a tad more serious - but it's entertaining so I'm not overly disappointed.

Largest reason is that nationstates is not too serious, with things like the "Kardashian Reflex Score" and other units of measure, along with the national happenings section describing things I passed (IE capital punishment) as things I didn't pass ("public executions are now held").
But everything ties into all of this.

Slight game mechanics question:
Is population increased by adding a set percentage of your current total? (I.E (current total x 0.1) + current total)
Or does it just go up a set number each time? (I.E. current total + 250,000)
I'd imagine the economic worth would be of a similar if not identical system.
