The Suzerain hobbled along, slowly, clutching his large heart-shaped pillow to his chest. "And the Council of Imperators truly believe this is the way forward?" he inquired.
"They do, your supremacy," replied the Speaker of the Council. "Our intelligence shows that similar methods have already proven very effective for other states."
The pair entered the Suzerain's room, and the Suzerain slowly made his way onto his plain hospital bed. "It is a strategy that is new and unusual to me. ... But then again, my reign has been marked by new and unusual moves, hasn't it?"
The Speaker nodded as he took a seat by the bed. "That is factual, your supremacy. But there is not power vested in the Council to make those sorts of decisions. If you would be so kind as to grant that power, however, your grace ...?"
The Suzerain idly stroked his long, pure-white beard, laying back against the inclined top portion of his bed and setting his heart pillow aside. "Such complex initiatives... They would surely do better with autonomy. To have the Council of Imperators assemble and vote on every last niggling matter would be quite the bureaucratic mess; quite the waste of time. An entire new autocephalous department is needed, most likely."
The Speaker paused for a moment, and then stood and bowed before the Suzerain. "You are likely correct, your supreme grace; I apologise on behalf of the entire Council of Imperators for its collective greediness and self-centric ways of thought. Should I leave you to consider the matter now, then?"

The Suzerain raised his bushy white eyebrows slightly. "Ah, again I'm reminded of just how long I've been reigning. You've read me so clearly; we've known one another for so long now." He shook his head. "More to the point, though, yes, you are dismissed for now."

We could still use more reinforcements. Anyone willing to help The AoD accomplish its first successful raid in years TG me or Albion ASAP.
