My ultimate goal of this game is to get at least 1 ranking in my nation as the top 1% of the world. Instead of getting that, I have 6 in the top 2%. Fml.

It also depends on focus. For example, if you focus heavily in industry at the cost of other things (environment, education, health, etc.) you'll get to the top 1% far faster than trying to universally increase everything.
