I have been thinking about and even considered A Bolívarian government, I have to admit though I never really knew that much about Perón's ideas but after reading about it a little more I'm very interested and might actully use Justicialism as a model. Thank you for introducing this to me Hajirah!

Or you could make it canon that you've always had a monarch. Nothing wrong with that if you fix your factbooks and don't wreck other people's canon.

I'm hadn't thought about that actually, I was working on a word document for factbook but i quit e like the sound of a news thread better , thanks for the suggestion!

Australia can't keep relying on China to better its economy...

It needs a better trading partner post-haste!

Question is who would it be? Either way every economy has it's up and downs. Every modern economy has a cycle of Booms and Busts.

Tbh we're not entirely relying on china as well. We just have too many exports because the gov has been relying to heavily on the Mining boom to keep our exports larger than our imports.

Hajirah wrote:In other news, opinion polls show that the 'No' vote is likely to prevail in the Greek referendum.Meanwhile, today is the 204th anniversary of Venezuela's independence.

Well, happy birthday Venezuela.

61% of the Greek population has voted not to accept the creditors' current bailout terms in yesterday's historic referendum.

To be honest,I prefer cassettes due to their affordability, durability, portability and the abundance of both cassettes and cassette players.

Definitely not Greece.

lol bye eu

Eurozone is doomed.

The europocalypse has come.

Oh come on can we stop acting suprised...we all knew it was coming I mean the very idea of a united Europe is just a sour dream. Personally, I praise Greece for having the metaphorical balls to say no to those stupid terms. At least after Greece is ejected from the EU; they can actually have room to grow as a country.

It'll all go downhill. They won't probably be the only country to leave. The politicians that created the euro and stand behind their claims that keeping up the Eurozone is the only way should just admit a mistake and let other countries of the EU smoothly return to their previous national currencies. But that's just my silly dream.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a preference that differs from someone else's, particularly where "How I listen to music" is concerned. As it happens, I was raised on records--some even older than you'd think. My mom actually had a Victrola (picture of a Victrola similar to mom's: http://p2.la-img.com/302/21388/7338722_1_l.jpg). The records were a good quarter-inch thick, and as far as I've been able to find were made from shellac. Mom also had a copy of John Philip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever for that old beast, and we played the hell out of that sucker.

Some music just doesn't sound right to me without the scratches and pops you get from a worn record. I like the convenience of an MP3 player, sure, but I also dislike the fact that my phone's battery has a maximum life of roughly 30 seconds (rough estimate) if I don't judiciously budget my use of the music app. Bear in mind, too, that I have a ginormous collection of mix tapes...none of which I ever listen to because I have nowhere to put my cassette player, and don't feel an overwhelming desire to buy a new, smaller one.

Where can I get a spot in the map?

Nullarni wrote:It's official! My "Useful Sites and Utilities" dispatch is #1!

Haha! Poor Ponderosa...

But congratulations mate! You earned it! :)

There are hundreds of Ponderosa Factbook clones... But only ONE "Useful Sites and Utilities"! :D

Nullarni maybe add something to your dispatch: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=199358

I use it all the time. It's better than Nation Manager (which my computer is too new for and the creator's CTE'd) and much less work-needed!

Welcome to the region.

Welcome! First you should register on the offsite forums: http://w11.zetaboards.com/NWP/topic/10675598/6/#new
Then you can take a look at the map and make a selection though I will warn you we are currently going through some 'reorganizing' so to say so your request may be quite slow, though I would recommend you take a look at the other forum (Subjects? Threads?) Things, such as the Regional Government, Rolplaying area, And general chat and hangout area. In any case welcome again, Hopefully this was decent enough and if you need any help just feel free to ask me or any of these other lovely people in the region. :)
