I'm digging your flag design but as a person who shortly pursued graphic design, I have a couple of remarks/questions.

1) Have you tried putting the laurel on a solid color background instead of crossing over the red, white, and blue?

2) What's the significance of the golden band at the top?

Each of the Perkins drive a screw, as well as possessing a number of them. Steaks are done topside, either in the galley or aft in the cockpit.

I would be more worried about which piece of equipment is now missing a screw, rather than finding it in my food. My life might depend on it!!
