Probably the context gets lost in Google Translate, but Ни хрена, Шерлок.

Meanwhile, in happy news for us all, we've been proscribed by the South Pacific. I feel a sense of achievement at this. Well done everyone!

Lenin is whatever, but LeBron is my sunshine.

The nice thing about the decision is that there were no downside stats-wise (employment, education and transportation went up), but now I have to deal with issues branding the leader a communist. But not just a communist, an incredibly paranoid, militant, and corrupt communist. About 3/4 of the issues I've had since were related to espionage for goodness sake! I'd rather deal with rich folks having a property dispute...

Question of the Day:

What did you vote for on the poll, and what would be a (non-graphic) example that really set you on edge?

Tethys 13 wrote:My answer:
I nearly voted 'teeth', since I am plagued with visions of horrible teeth situations frequently (for example, any time I think about cutlery, I unwillingly imagine biting down on it at a bad angle). However, that exposure has inured me a bit, and I have no qualms about the dentist, so eye stuff was my choice. The scene of Picard's transformation into Locutus in Star Trek is bad enough, but worse was a particular moment in Dead Space 2 that was very clearly designed to activate that squeamishness as much as possible.

I'm definitely not a puppet of ANYONE. Definitely. Especially not "Thal Dorthat."

And I'm not a main nation. Especially not of anyone called "Durm".

I voted for eyes. I'm not a horror kind of guy but I know that if anything happens with eyes I freak out. Un Chien Andalou has that one scene that really made me vote for eyes.

For your information, Lenin was a terrorist mass murderer who slaughtered thousands to empower himself.

And Stalin was even worse. A genocidal maniac who brutalized millions of innocents and tried to eradicate dozens of ethnic groups, including my own. My Ukki fought against that totalitarian monster and I couldn't be prouder of him.

And guess who Stalin was? An associate of Lenin.....

Question of the Day:

How does your nation handle censorship?

Tethys 13 wrote:My answer:
It (essentially) does not exist. The Tethysi are very keen on freedom of information. The closest things would be the 'disputed' shelves, where works that have been deemed to have false or highly dubious content presented as facts reside, and the 'restricted' section, where hazardous books (whether through radioactivity, sentience, magical abilities, or auras of corruption) are sealed, with access requiring signing a waiver and donning protective equipment.

censor all tht are against government and country. media is controlled by government.

Tethys 13 wrote:Question of the Day:

Here in Aryako it doesnt exist either. Altho every person in aryako is encouraged to fact check stuff if they can. Altho private companies can censor stuff and the apps are allowed to exist on their terms.
