Second Inaugural Address

Nine years ago, a new Republic was proclaimed from the turmoil and strife of a region that had been battered and bruised and yet stood defiantly in face of its possible demise. To this day, it is important that we never forget the resolve that was shown then, that no matter how low or ugly things may look - Europeia will overcome.

The challenges we face are both similar and dissimilar from those our forebears were challenged by. Then we were a region that had just surpassed 75 nations to a powerhouse in the present that has over 1300 nations calling it home. Then, we faced challenges with The Lands of Kings and Emperors, and now recognize them as one of our longest and closest allies. Then we faced the slander of the disgruntled PRA, and today we face the rhetoric of Cormac. Still, then and now, we stand defiantly in the face of the challenges before us and do not shy away from them but embrace them full on.

The challenge today is not that we are a young region struggling to make our mark in the world, but the battle to live up to the ideals that have gotten us here today and not fade into complacency and irrelevance. So I ask that you stand up and help me to challenge apathy and indifference. To stand up and honor the hard work and efforts of the countless others that have come before. To "band together and unite into a great union and expand that into the future."

Europeia is more than just one person, it is more than just me. We have work to do in this term, as an Administration that seeks to revitalize and reinvigorate the spirit of the citizenry, and as a People that must find our passion and purpose.

Nine years is too long of a time, a legacy too greatly created, sacrifices too honorably given, and beliefs too deeply ingrained for us to sit idly by. We are Europeia, and we have and we will overcome any obstacle in front of us.

Cheers my fellow brothers and sisters, cheers.

Trinnien, President of Europeia
