LinkThe Political Objectives Test

Moderate

You scored 79 Equality, 79 Liberty, and 71 Stability!
Your feel that all three principles are important. You take some interest in politics and definitely have opinions. However those opinions may be formed on a case-by-case basis because you lack an overriding commitment to any of the principles. You may sometimes get confused by complex political issues because you can be persuaded by different arguments. Moderates like yourself are important in mediating between others in a parliamentary democracy. If you get involved in politics then you may well be working alongside the pragmatists among Conservatives or Liberals or Socialists depending on your inclinations and circumstances.

LinkNot strictly a political one, but still:

You are 74% Episcopalian
You are Episcopalian, but not a stereotypical one. You either go to services regularly or were brought up on the church. You're pretty normal overall. Congrats!

Episcopalian are somewhat liberal when it comes to societal issues, they are rather accepting of LGBT people, but prefer traditional church services with organ pipes. Also, after-service coffee/tea is a must.

LinkAnother political compass-like test

Social liberal [scoring 73.6 on the personal freedom and 37.9 on the economy scale, with more meaning a more capitalist alignment]

You want government out of people's personal lives, but desire more government control over people's economic activities. This puts you midway between President Barack Obama and former Governor Gary Johnson.

There is no political party that represents your views. The Green Party does run many candidates with similar views, but the overall Green Party platform is much more socialistic than you are. There are some Democratic Party office holders in this region, but most are south of you on the Nolan Chart. Possibly the closest party to your views is the new Modern Whig Party, but they are just getting started.

A mix of Democratic, Green, and Libertarian politicians in office would provide the balance of freedom and social justice you desire. The ratio between these depends on how high up your dot is on the chart.
