History of the Armed Republic of Leslau


Leslau and it's neighbours (2014)

1764 - today's teritory of the Leslau becomes Spanish colony.
1817 - rebelion against spanish goverment results with creation of Republic of Lesterau.
1831 - after the fall of November's Uprising in Poland, big group of emigrants, especially soldiers and politics, arrives to Lesterau. They live in the southern part of the country.
1844 - corrupted leaders of army kill president Eduardo Antonio and start their rebellion
1844-1853 - civil war in Republic of Lesterau. Polish emigrants support defenders of democracy and at then they controll most of the democratic units troops.
1852 - rebels withdraws to the north part of the country and fortified their positions. They proclaimed country of Ester.
1853 - peace treaty between Ester and newborn Republic of Leslau.
1855 - neighbouring Monarchy of Botswania invades Leslau and destroys many cities.
1858 - Charles Sienkiewicz becomes president of Leslau. He rules for the next 15 years, recreating industry and country's economics.
1873 - Michael Sienkiewicz, Charles's son is elected for the president.
1873-78 - Republic of Leslau builds new, well equipped and armed forces.
1878-80 - Leslau invades corrupted country of Ester and reclaimes its territory. This results with war between Leslau and Botswania, Ester's ally. In the quick campaign, Leslau forces smashes Bostwania and occupies half of it's territory for the next 20 years,
1900 - Leslau's president, Henryk Zborowsky, build university, lately named by his name.
1914 - Leslau joins Entente in the Great War. It allows Leslau to occupy two previously german isles nearby it shores. Position of the army is growing.
1920 - Coup de etat made by the group of young officers. Leslau becomes country ruled by the military junta.
1939 - Junta signs a treaty with general Franco from Spain. Leslau supports Spain with food, while Spain sells Leslau some of the military equiplemnt.
1943 - Leslau loses in the war with Republic of Astentia. Loss results with mass protests against junta and rebelion against rules of generals.
1946 - new, democratic goverment signs treats with USA. American companies have open doors in Leslau.
1964 - Leslau attacks socialist Republic of Astentia and with the help of the US supplies, revenges its loss in 1943.
1978 - general Kieskowsky wins presidental elections and announces himself as national leader.
1978 - 95 - rules of Kieskowsky. Leslau becomes rich country with close relations to the USA.
1995 - 2008 - rules of general Sempowsky. Freedom of speech is limited.
2008 - protests against rules of Sempowsky results with choosing young colonel Grishewsky as the new national leader.
