This region is closed. It will be opened to other nations at a much later date. The nations currently in the region are controlled by the founder, and are gathering influence so that when the password is removed the region's members could not be ejected and the region destroyed and taken within a couple updates. This is needed to keep the region safe since the founder chose to give up powers in order to make the game more interesting.

Bahamas Regional Message Board

Post self-deleted by Topid.

Hello.

This region was founded years ago by Topid, through this puppet. The original purpose of Bahamas was a desire to launch a region as a non-executive founder region.

At the time, and still today, Topid believed that the region building game is more fun without the “God card” of an executive founder. An executive founder has absolute power over a region, and thus removes any concern or reason to be cautious or careful in running a region. Often these regions establish “governments” but have no real incentive to engage in diplomacy or to be concerned about the implications of their decisions. It can feel like a totally pointless endeavor. Plus, NS history is full of painful reminders that these all-powerful founders can turn off a community at the slightest whim, ejecting hundreds of nations in a few moments.

Unfortunately, Topid never got around to giving this project any attention.
