The Republic of Pacificar is a gargantuan, safe nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 12.484 billion Pacificarians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The medium-sized, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Spirituality, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 41.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The large but underdeveloped Pacificarian economy, worth 442 trillion Pesos a year, is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture industry, with major contributions from Woodchip Exports, Cheese Exports, and Furniture Restoration. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 35,469 Pesos, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Pacificar's national animal is the Unicorn.
