The Comradeship of Kommunisterna is a massive, safe nation, ruled by comrade Uffe with a fair hand, and remarkable for its national health service, compulsory military service, and irreverence towards religion. The compassionate, democratic population of 4.996 billion communists love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The enormous, socially-minded, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Administration, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kristianstad Autonomous Zone. The average income tax rate is 55.4%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The large but inefficient communist economy, worth 133 trillion kronor a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, highly specialized black market in Information Technology, Uranium Mining, and Book Publishing. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 26,784 kronor, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

People can't decide between preserving forests and buying print copies of 'Dogman Versus The Giggler', taking hostages is a great way to influence government policy, a primitive society is being eroded as its youth flock to the modern world, and politicians are often found scavenging bins at night to supplement their income. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kommunisterna's national animal is the Elk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is state agnosticism.

Kommunisterna is ranked 149,049th in the world and 2nd in Sveriges regering for Highest Poor Incomes, with 23,369.55 Standard Monetary Units.
