The Most grand republic of Guarntura is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Ejife Kinté with an even hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants, state-planned economy, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, devout population of 4.006 billion Guarns are prohibited from doing almost everything except voting, which they do timidly and conservatively.

The large, corrupt, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Industry, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kérhera. The average income tax rate is 59.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Guarnturai economy, worth 372 trillion Guarnturai rubles a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, quite specialized black market in Arms Manufacturing, Trout Farming, Tourism, and Automobile Manufacturing. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 92,921 Guarnturai rubles, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.3 times as much as the poorest.

Citizens are deployed to barren deserts to protect small territorial claims, just as students finish their homework it's time for school, aristocratic family trees are beginning to resemble tumbleweeds, and senior citizens can usually be found doing heavy manual labour. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Guarntura's national animal is the falcon, which can occasionally be seen dodging aircraft in the nation's cities, and its national religion is Islam.

Guarntura is ranked 205,469th in the world and 23rd in Novapax for Safest, scoring 36.77 on the Bubble-Rapp Safety Rating.
