I think Katie can defend herself.

BTW inactivity is a fair criticism. That doesn't mean that she doesn't have a valid excuse for it. Inactivity has been going on way too much in our government so people are going to be upset when they see it. Unfortunately for Katie she was inactive for the end of her last term and is now starting this term the same way. Regardless of the reasons that doesn't look good.
