It is with great honor and sincere respect for our brother and sister nations that our Free Republic announces its arrival in The Eternal Order.

Though we are a new nation, we intended to lead the world in individual liberty and political freedom, having already begun to make our mark in that regard. We view our citizens as our most valuable asset and their rights our most important responsibility. Our nation consists of several regions, ensuring that our citizens have access to their government at the most convenient and responsive level. Only by having the right to petition their government directly can the needs of our citizens be met.

We offer the hand of friendship to all nations who prioritize the ideals of liberty, justice, and truth. We seek not confrontation, but will respond in kind to hostility and/or aggression.

Tis our pleasure to make our home here, offering our resources, knowledge, and the labors of our great free citizens to assist in building The Eternal Order in every capacity: size, strength, and all reasonable measures of well-intended success. As president, I vow my commitment to the same.

Liberty Forgers hold dear our National Motto: "To us is given the greatest of all responsibilities; Liberty. Forge on." And we pray our fellow nations will embrace this noble goal.

LIBERTY CITY (LFTP) The Republic of Liberty Forge, in response to nuclear proliferation and the stockpiling of WMDs by other nations, has elected to pursue such programs as a matter of what the government calls "a necessity."

"Certainly we regret having to come to this decision," said Granderson Storm at a rare formal press conference yesterday. "But we must recognize that a nation can only remain free when it has the means to defend itself. We will use these new weapons only if attacked, and only as a last resort."

Opposition party chairman Thomas 'Tommygun' Schroeder, expectedly, saw the new program differently.

"A country that espouses the greatest virtue of all, liberty, surely cannot look itself in the mirror when it has acquired weapons of mass destruction. WMDs are a purely offensive weapon, and frankly, I don't trust the president to make lawful and prudent determinations on when or if they should be used."

Chief of Staff for Liberty Forge's armed forces, General Sterling Bryson, welcomed the news.

"Look, countries with WMDs don't get attacked. And I think we can all agree not being attacked is a good thing. I am proud that the president made the decision to ensure peace in our land via superior firepower. I pray these weapons never have to be used. But I'd rather have a big gun and not need it than get shot."

At press time, it was not clear if these weapons have already been moved into place or are awaiting deployment. After signing the WMD directive, President Storm said he would, "Ensure that these weapons are deployed without delay."
