I would like to run for parliament because I want to help this region grow. I believe that if I get a seat in parliament I will really help this region.
I began playing NationStates when this region was formed. I joined the region a few days later. This will be my first parliamentary seat but I have a vision. If elected I would like to make this region more active and help increase it’s size.

Dear citizens and residents of The Democratic Union. I am happy to announce my campaign to join our first elected parliament!
I mostly have experience as a diplomat for regions under different aliases, however I hope to help further propagate and grow our developing region.
To that end, we need to take the fight to the unruly and misguided raiding regions of NationStates by building up an army and joining forces with liberationist organisations to free those, who had lost thier homes and to protect ourselves against unexpected raids. This would help us become recognised among the international community and grow the region, whilst providing a safety cushon for the region.
I also hope to participate in developing a regional roleplay to increase the variety and unique flavor of our region.
To summarise, as a parliamentarian, I hope to encurage more activity in our region, to give it life and diversity.

Always an interesting dilemma in my opinion.
Good afternoon Citizens of The Democratic Union, I am here to announce my campaign for election of the first parliment.
I started playing NS about a month ago. I may not have great grammar skills, but i can tell you that i believe that the judicial branch should not be involved in any sort of political party. Their job is to rule a case that is against any sort of law imposed by the parliment. I also would like that the citizens of the DU shall have the right to petition for an impeachment proceeding against a tyrant President.
All in all, i would like to hear from you which laws shall the parliment impose in the Democratic Union.
