We would concede to a reduction to, but not full restriction on, marsupial proliferation. The end goal must not be full marsupial disarmament, or else you will see no cooperation from us. Further, any treaty must also include language for improved security and containment measures for extent Crocodilia in the region. This happens to be a cause near and dear to our hearts, you see, and will likely be a sticking point in any theoretical future negotiations on the topic.

Well, I certainly don't want to give you more work. Just pointing it out in case you were interested.

"Pen Gwyn" I came across a little while ago, as what appears to be a false etymology for the name "penguin," derived from the Welsh phrase for "white" and "head." There seems to still be an open debate on the subject, and the Welsh origin retains support, though, as was stated right in the article I read: "The fact that the penguin has a black head is no serious objection."

I also enjoy one of the Germanic names for the little guy: "fat-goose"

I finally got my first covid vaccine shot today. Such a relief...

Related to this, where I went was a FEMA site (Federal Emergency Management Agency), run by the National Guard. I'd not been on the receiving end of a relief effort before, and I've never been more impressed by an operation in my life. The thing ran smooth as clockwork. Smoother, even.

Strange to think that around this time, last year, the Guard were deployed in my city with machine gun-mounted humvees and stationed on corners behind sandbags. Now I can think of no single organization I would trust more, at the moment (besides maybe my public radio station :P ) What a strange world...

Edit: I am genuinely surprised they found Chauvin (the cop over here in the US who murdered George Floyd) guilty of all three charges of murder and manslaughter that had been brought up against him. It doesn't feel good, for me at least, but it feels like a relief.
