I'm asking for Prayers I just learned my cousin passed this morning from a car accident and her child was with her and is in critical condition

OMG! My thoughts and prayers are with you and her child.

My cousins daughter is out of surgery she had a broken back and arm along with a few other things. She’s only 19 years and is now without a Mom 😢😪 She immediately asked for her Mom upon waking up and we had to tell her that she is in a better place watching over her more than ever in Gods hands. The police asked her what she could remember and she told them someone had crossed into there lane causing a head on collision. The other driver was a teenager and they don’t know if alcohol was involved or if they were texting and driving. I’m just thankful my cousins daughter survived. This is such a shock and I’m so tired I haven’t slept and even if I do I wake up every other hour just crying a lot. I’m going to try and be headed out to see my family and do my best to be there for them.

O God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time. Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace. Taking, as he did, the sinful world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that he will make all things right if I surrender to His will; that I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with Him forever.

It’s what I’ve always been told. It’s fine to be a really safe driver, but remember to look out for all the idiots that are out there.

That's what happened to me when I was hit by a three-time DUI, killing my unborn baby and causing me to have multiple operations to restore my mobility and my face. I still bear the scars and the nightmares of that time some 15 years ago. The drunk that hit me is still in jail.

I was in a really bad way after the accident, but my friends here on NS were a help for me to go forward and not fall into depression and want to end my life. Since that time, we adopted to sisters and I finally had a boy.

I am grateful for all of you, I can’t imagine losing my child. I’m so sorry about that period in time for you. I know I will go on I can’t leave my kids. I’m glad you all are in my life and appreciate all of your advice ❤️🙏
