Happy to see Anglatia on the map! I'm retired from the World Cup but I'm still going to compete in the Copa Rushmori, so it's nice to see that. There's one little thing with city placement but eh, I'm not going to nitpick after not being on the map at all for so long.
I mean, if you want to make a change just say so. I don't mind making edits where I've done it wrong.
The only thing I do mind, is people continuously changing their mind and demanding I do stuff every time I update it. And that's not what you're doing. Either in the map claim thread or by TG is fine.
How can my nation join the Rushmori sporting events?
Encinitania's a pretty new nation, so we don't know much about sporting RP.
The only Rushmori sporting event is the Copa Rushmori, which is the region's football (soccer) tournament. You've missed the last edition by a few weeks.
However, we mainly do the forum-wide sports that take place over in the NS Sports subforum. Head over there and have a look. Currently, signups for the 78th NS World Cup are open. Just sit back and through some active tournaments to get an idea of how you can RP here (you don't have to limit yourself to sport-specific RPs, many people do wider storylines that barely link to the sport at hand).

Yeah, my advice would be to just throw yourself in at the deep-end and see how it goes. The first tournament I entered, I did an RP series about my assistant manager falling in love with someone on another team. It was weird.
The only main differences between sporting RP and the rest of the RPs on this website are that we use weighted random number generators to give us something to RP about, people love stats, and a lot of the RPs are about the sport they're taking part in.
