'The Republic of Iberia and its people do not consider the rising in global tensions to be neither necessary nor appropriate, especially when more pressing matters such as the presence of alien races are more potent than a simple alliance. Iberia considers peace and prosperity to be the two main pillars for world to function, and Barcelona is always open for world powers to discuss their grievances in a civil manner.

Instead of attempting to align nations with either the west or the east, we should be seeking to align the human race against alien threats. We also call out the Federal State of Russia in a desperate attempt to remain relevant on the global stage by trying to encourage global destabilisation. But at the same timing, we call out the nations of this "United Nations War Group" for drawing a line in the sand, and effectively making it clear that they have a very "us versus them" attitude. More nations should be free to join a new supranational organisation to defend mankind. Global powers such as the Democratic Federation and the Unified American Federation should seek to assist Iberia in her attempt to make the world a safer place.'

Notably absent from the speech was the President, who is currently undergoing surgery to remove a tumour growing in his right arm after an injection of stem cells to fight a bad spell of sickle cell anaemia.

Chancellor Fürst sat back in her seat, confused. “Tensions?” She asked her Foreign Affairs secretary. “What tensions? Is he talking about how china was admitted into the UNWG?” She asked, shuddering at the name. She didn’t like it. The “United Nations” conjured up images of Globalized statism. It gave globalization a bad name really. “I don’t see it really. He doesn’t seem to be thinking about the tensions in South America. “Send a military envoy... Brigadier General Brown. Have him assure the Iberians that, other than considerations of further anti gem operations by the navy and marine corps in Nepal, we aren’t foreseeing any imminent armed conflict with German involvement.”

Fürst leaned forward, interlocking her own fingers as she rested her elbows on her desk. She looked around the room. She remembered that she hadn’t been elected to this office, instead assuming it after Chancellor Center’s resignation in disgrace. Her association with Center made her rather unpopular actually, despite having ordered his assassination. She needed to end that legacy and bring about a new one. The FRG was at a real crossroads, but she wasn’t the one to make the call. “No.” She said bluntly, “I’m not running again.” She chuckled. “Do you think the arbiter, Grol ‘Manamai, or one of his kind would see this office as his or her own?” She stared off. The Sangheili were so different from the Germans, yet they clearly had quite the respect for each other. Brotherhoods forged in the fires of war do that often. Manamai had even joked once about running for chancellor, but perhaps it was a good idea. He was popular with the Germans, serving as a representation that extra-terrestrials can unite with humans, so maybe it would work. She didn’t know, but she would be right.

Your national interests should not result in mass propaganda leaflet being dropped whole on China and the only person defending you is Russia. I won't simply idly watch as this "Rising Sun of Australasia" consumes the Asiatic
