And for those not on discord. Here is Noah in the government chat threatening to change his proposed bill to one that is even harsher that the rp community opposes even more. We oppose a full citizenship requirement because several members are not from our region. So it would require us to kick several longtime members.

I mean, theoretically anyone has an equal opportunity to found their own party and get it recognized according to the constitution, and trying to regulate the political parties would require a constitutional amendment. For the most part party leaders don't abuse this power, so it isn't an issue, but every so often we get something like the Unity-Activist Merge where Party leaders totally disregard the desires of the membership, and there is literally nothing the members can do about it.
