Rule I: The regional cup will consist of 24 teams
Article I: The bottom 4 teams will not be eligible for the next tournament based on performance in the Regional Cup
Article II: Teams in the bottom 4 are eligible for the play-in tournament preceding the Regional Cup
Article III: The top 20 teams in the standings are locked into the next Cup via provisionals
Rule II: Every country may send 1 team only
Rule III: Rosters will consist of 13 players
Roleplay Procedures
For roleplay reasons rosters of 13 players must be provided
Jerseys will be handled by me; if you want to make a special request telegram me, please
On scorination days there will be a strict 9:00 PM EST cutoff for roleplay submissions unless specified otherwise
Roleplays offer the opportunity to give your team a bonus so be active!
Other bonuses include: home-court advantage( varies based on team ranking), team experience( later down the tournament teams with ore experience will receive slight advantages), training( submitted before the tournament but after the sign-up period. Will improve the skills of certain players based on the quality of the RP)
And remember basic RP courtesies still apply. Do not RP any major events without the consent of all parties involved!

So, is this for the Rp or for what?
This looks interesting, but how is it done? Also, we need to start small, though, and work out a way to prepare these associations and championships without much refinement at first.
We suggest a smaller regional cup, for now, with 12 teams maximum. Performance and results will be random, but is there a way to mathematically account for experience/other variables into the championships - which will influence the results (like the bonuses you described)?

The Union of Costa Rica pointed out, will we be legislating/regulating this? Create an RP office, RP region? Sheepiania should call on this one/discuss on the Council of Ministers.

Sheepiania, regarding the RP, here are some thoughts.
First, maybe we should scrap the map? Colonizing and attacking neutral/non-existent nations, constantly adding nations on the map or removing them when they get inactive is tiring and it kills the drive to engage in its stories. In addition to this, we really should be thinking about offering personalization options for each nation in order to give members the chance to share their country's views, ideology, and other characteristics. The options for personalization are endless, we just need to work on the code for an LDA member factbook that could redirect to each nation's custom profile.
For RP itself, We are thinking of a system composed by intranational and international events. One could write about their nation's internal state as an intranational event, but also write about their dealings with a nation in this region, as an example of an international event. The lack of a map expands the possibilities of sharing stories, drafting alliances and rivalries, with total disregard for any preoccupation with geographic nuances.
I like the map, the map is useful to get a visual of the countries, it makes it easier to imagine what they would look like, but appart from that I agree with the rest fo what you said

I personally agree. I believe NPC nations need more information, like the name of the leader.
Also, 'The Empire of Great Bengal' simply cannot exist for this long.
We could include a chance for the country to expose its own map, with geography and other topographic features in its own factbook. This would, for example, allow you to choose a location on Earth or any other universe, and also potentially coinciding with other nations' location on the map, but without any downsides - since the map is individual to each country (as opposed to the old map, which was unified and had to be constantly updated by only one person).
France had control over the RP zone founder. I gave him access since I thought he would become permanently active again.
There are other regions who have multiple RPs in rotation, Multiple going on at the same time or no map and just a multiverse RP.
Why not have one multiverse RP, run by the mods, where nations can create their own maps and stories removed from IRL. Then allow people to create their own RPs if they want to, run by the players.
