In addition to what I've raised in my other post about the CEdC (still unanswered) I'd like to raise the fact that a shorter gap between WC Cycles is being talked about and that both other sporting regions have opened regional signups. We should probably be doing the same, especially given we cut it very fine last cycle.
I generally feel like compared to when I was on NS before, and compared to the other two regions, we're a bit rudderless as a region, with the bare minimum being done at a slightly later than needed time. We're still an IFCF cycle behind and the regional factbook hasn't been updated since I joined here. Maybe I'm overthinking things, but I'd appreciate some input here.

Is anyone else voting in the World Assembly? That "Access to Abortion" resolution is going to be a divisive one. Sorlovia votes against it, we prescribe personhood at conception.
While finishing up on my 1st domestic National Games, the proposition of an Esportivan Games came to mind. This, I envision as being something like the RL continental games like the Panam Games, the Asian Games, etc. The events for the Esportivano shall be fewer, ideally, with respect to the Olympics. The said events may not be listed in the Olympic charter (such as chess), but may be included in the Games. I believe this will be a nice stepping stone for future hosts wanting to host the Olympics at some point, but aren't at that mark yet. What do y'all think? What sports/events would you want? When would be a good time to have this? Let's talk.
Edit: Skateboarding and surfing are other examples of non-Olympic events suggested by Kita-Hinode that we'd try to include.
